"In this book the author and creator offers an easy introduction to yoga, a far richer way of experiencing yoga by fusing the coloring aspect with the learning, focus and practice of yoga."
Daniel Ben-Tal, "Haaretz" newspaper
"I think this book is intended for people just like me – after years of saying to myself “I’ll start tomorrow”, I am now practicing regularly and feel how yoga influences me physically and mentally."
Avri Raviv, founder of the Alternative Magazine - "Hayim-Aherim"
"Each position, quality, sentiment, has a mandala made for coloring, as Yoga is a language of body and soul, primal and ancient, weaving bodies, consciousness, movement, and breath."
Shlomit Raz, editor of the Alternative magazine - "Hayim Aherim"
"Shaya began to treat herself using Yoga breathing techniques and listening to the vertebras that were operated on. For two years, she listened to the pain and worked with it, step by step and gradually went back to functioning and teaching Yoga."
Michal Cohen-Simcha, supporter of body and soul balancing processes, Network Balancing Therapist, Yoga teacher, owner of the Livor Centre
"The book Mandala-Yoga is unique and truly one of a kind, with mandalas fostering inspiration and development, and professional yet fascinating contents".
Lidar Cohen acupuncturist and natural gynecologist
"At first I thought the book Yoga-Mandala is a normal coloring book; slowly but surely I realized that coloring the mandalas and reading the explanations interwoven between them induce a great spiritual peace and tranquility I could not have achieved otherwise."
Excerpts from the book
Accepting Responsibility in the New Age
In the 'Old Age' one had to be initiated by a Guru after a long period of tutelage and service in order to acquire spiritual knowledge. By becoming a close servant to a Guru, the apprentice would absorb the very being of the master into his own. This was a time when books were rare and not readily available, and in any case, it took a teacher to understand them.
Between Knowing and Thinking
There is a saying: “Don't let the facts confuse you”, that is true in cases where you have a fine job that pays well with good benefits, and you are up for promotion, and still, something inside is restless, nagging you to “move!” and you do, either by sabotaging your chances or by quitting elegantly.
States of Consciousness in Closed Eyes
In order to write I must enter an opposite state of mind to that of Yoga. If in my former years I have excelled in expressing myself with words, written and oral, in literature, advertising and marketing - once I discovered Yoga and entered the life of a Yogini - I gave up the world of words, losing interest in books, films, theater, even deep conversations.
